Habitat for Humanity of Marion County is now accepting applications for a single family home in Knoxville. Executive Director Robin Pfalzgraf says they’re looking for a hard-working family who is willing to be invested in the program.

“We look for people who want a hand up. We’re looking for people who are ready to own a home. Everybody doesn’t need to own a home, so we’re looking for someone who’s ready for that responsibility. We look for people who will be our partners. We want a long-term investment between Habitat and our families.”

The organization builds houses for families whose income is between 30% and 60% of the area’s median income, which is $61,038 in Marion County according to the United States Census Bureau.
