Indianola High School will have four spring sports teams in action today.
The Indianola girls golf team continues their busy week with a road trip to the Ottumwa Country Club for a tournament hosted by the Bulldogs and six other schools including conference foe Oskaloosa. Tee-off is scheduled for noon.
The Indians girls and boys tennis teams are facing off with county-rival Norwalk today, with the girls hosting the Warriors and the boys taking the short road trip to Norwalk High School. The Indians girls are looking for the conference regular season sweep, sitting at 4-0, while the boys are looking to get back in the win column after a tough loss to Ballard on Tuesday.
And the Indianola boys soccer squad is looking to build a winning streak after a win on Tuesday, but will have to make the road trip to Creston to do so to take on the Panthers in a non-conference tilt. Head coach Heath Weeks tells KNIA Sports the Indians defense has been their strength all season long, but need to work on converting that into scoring goals. Action starts at 5:30pm.
