Four Norwalk sports teams were in action Thursday. The girls golf team started the day by taking part in an invitational at Newton. The Warriors placed 2nd shooting a 208. They return to action Monday at the Little Hawkeye Conference meet at Oskaloosa.
The girls golf team was at Indianola, falling 9-2. Ava Johnson won in singles while the doubles team of Johnson and Kelsey Dammeier was the other victory. They’ll be back in action Monday, hosting the conference meet.
The boys tennis team hosted Indianola, and fell 7-4. They’ll head to Grinnell Monday for the conference meet.
The girls track and field team was at home for the final time this season, hosting Dallas Center-Grimes and Oskaloosa in an invitational. The Warriors placed 2nd with 67 points. Top finishers for Norwalk included:

Up next for the Warriors is the state qualifying meet Thursday at Waukee.
Just one event is on the schedule today. The #3 in 2A Warriors put their undefeated record on the line, hosting #2 in 3A West Des Moines Valley. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at Warrior Stadium.
