Junior defender Brant Mueller and freshman goalkeeper John Foster of the Central College men’s soccer team were chosen as honorable mentions for the American Rivers All-Conference team announced Thursday.

Mueller, also an honorable mention selection in 2019, played a team-high 727 minutes out of a possible 752. He led the Dutch with five points, courtesy of game-winning goals against Buena Vista University and Nebraska Wesleyan University.

Foster secured a 2-4-1 record between the pipes for Central, recording shutouts in both of his victories. He made 44 saves on the 96 shots he faced after starting seven of the team’s eight games.

Central finished the season with a 3-4-1 overall record and 3-4-1 in the conference.
