The Marion County Historical Society will hold its annual Pioneer Days celebration in early June at the Marion County Historical Village. The event begins Friday, June 4th with a movie under the stars at dusk. A breakfast served by the Knights of Columbus begins at 8:00 a.m., with lunch beginning at 11:00 a.m. Society President Craig Agan says all the buildings will be available for tours.

“There will be building tours, we’ll have people staffing all the buildings. The original depot which was in Bussey, the Valley Chappell, the Pleasant Ridge School, the Great Western Stagecoach Inn, the general store, the log cabin, and of course, the Marion County Museum.”

The final event of the day is the 2nd Annual Marion County Historical Society Hall of Fame Induction at 2:30 p.m. in the Valley Chappell. Learn more about the upcoming Pioneer Days on an upcoming Let’s Talk Knoxville.
