While their team season ended on Friday, the Knoxville Girls Tennis Squad will try to get individuals to the state tournament today in the class 1A Individual Regionals in Pella. Panther player Josalin McKeever tells KNIA/KRLS Sports getting to state in her senior season, especially after missing last season due to the pandemic, would be a great cap to her Panther career.

McKeever:
“I would really like to make it to state. I don’t know where I’ll be put in singles or doubles, but that would be cool after not getting to play my junior year.”

McKeever and Olivia Maasdam played doubles this season and finished runner-up in the South Central Conference meet a couple of weeks ago. The top two in singles and doubles will advance to the State Meet.
