The PCM School District has recently hired three new administrators.

Donita Geetings was hired as the new principal at both Monroe and Prairie City Elementary Schools. Geetings is currently a K-5 Instructional Coach for the Ankeny Community School District; she has served in this capacity for seven years. She also taught classes in the Pella Community School District elementary schools for 11 years.

“I am so excited to join the learning community at PCM. It is clear that our school board is focused on making school a great place for all students with a focus on innovation and research-based teaching and learning strategies. I look forward to a positive partnership with all of our stakeholders. My husband and children share my excitement as we pursue this new journey together.”

Levi Marx was also selected as the new principal at PCM Middle School. Levi Marx was named to the position. He currently serves as the 7-12 principal at Moravia school.

Following a reorganization of the district’s athletic director position into a 7-12 activities director role, Jeremy Swink was hired to lead extracurricular activities at PCM. Swink is currently the activities director at Fort Madison. Greg Bonnett has moved from the athletic director position and remains in the district as a teacher and the head football coach.

All three new hires begin at PCM on July 1st.
