The Knoxville School Board will hold another special meeting today. Superintendent Cassi Pearson says the purpose is to hire a new principal.

“On Monday, we’ll be interviewing for a West Elementary principal position. We’ve really enjoyed having Ryan Klein in that position the last few years, he’s done a phenomenal job. Due to some family needs, he and his wife are going to be relocating back to her hometown. We’re excited for them, but we’re going to miss them, and we want to thank Ryan for his service here. On Monday, we’ll be interviewing for his replacement, so we’ll have a special meeting on Tuesday to hopefully approve a contract that has been accepted for someone to fill that position.”

The Knoxville School Board special meeting begins at 4:30 p.m. at the Knoxville Schools Administration Building.
