Monday is Memorial Day, a day to recognize those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in serving in the nation’s military.

As a federal holiday, all government offices will be closed, including departments in courthouses and city halls. Most financial institutions and many retailers also close to recognize the holiday. Anyone needing to do business at these locations should plan to do so today or Tuesday.
