The Pella City Council will consider renewal of an agreement with Metro Waste Authority at their meeting this evening. The deal expired for yard waste disposal and transportation at the end of 2020. If approved, the price per individual bag would increase from $.95 to $1.08 and from $4.75 to $5.40 per bundle. The council will also consider special event permits for 4th of July activities in Pella, which will be celebrated on Monday, July 5th.
