In what has already been a special year for the boys sports teams at Pella High School, two more have a chance to add more trophies to the school’s already loaded case outside the gym.

Pella’s No. 2 ranked tennis team is at the Waveland Tennis Courts in Des Moines today to compete for a 1A state championship, against No. 1 Xavier, No. 3 Wahlert, and No. 6 Spencer.

This afternoon, the No. 4 Dutch boys soccer team will begin the state quarterfinals against No. 5 ADM. The two teams clashed on May 1st, with Pella taking down the Tigers 2-1 at Pella High School.
