PCM Softball went on the road Tuesday to take on Chariton, and left with their second win of the season with a 7-5 victory.

Paige Steenhoek was effective in the circle for the Mustangs, as she got the Chargers to ground out 15 times in the contest. Offensively, PCM had nine hits, with most coming in a five-run fourth inning. Despite the win, Head Coach Shaun Hudnut said he’d like more consistency from the lineup to reach their full potential.

Both the PCM baseball and softball teams will make their longest road trip on the schedule to Greene County tonight. Both games start at 7:30.
