Thursdays in Pella returned to Central Park Thursday. This week’s theme was Fam Fest, which included the annual bike rodeo, a parent/child look-alike contest, and live entertainment on the Tulip Toren, including The Dans Company and Magician Rick Eugene.
Allison Kerndt with Families First of Pella says they sponsor the opening night each year, to help promote the importance of gathering together and sharing community as a family. The evening concluded with the first City Band performance of 2021.
The KNIA/KRLS Lil’ Big Red Radio is broadcasting during every Thursdays in Pella event this summer.
This evening, the PACE Alliance is also bringing back Fridays After Five. Festivities start at 4:45 on the Molengracht, which includes a special announcement relating to the new non-profit organization Spirit of Pella, a group aiming to begin several improvement projects in the Central Business District.
