The Pleasantville Christian Church will host local artist Jason Brown for a fundraising concert on Sunday, June 13th. The church is fundraising for its church construction project, which is expected to be completed in November. Church Board Chair Lois Turnage tells KNIA/KRLS News that several items will be sold in auctions that night.

“We’ll be auctioning off things such as tickets to the Knoxville 360 Nationals, an airplane ride provided by Knoxville Aviation, we have a hot air balloon ride for two coming to us from Indianola, and so many other items. We’ll also have numerous silent auction items we’ll have on display. We’re looking forward to all of this.”

A $10 pork loin meal begins at 5:30 p.m. outside Memorial Hall, and the concert begins at 7:00. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
