The Norwalk softball team traveled to Boone Tuesday for a non-conference game against the Toreadors, and came out on top 4-1. Boone plated their only run in the bottom of the first, and held the lead for a large portion of the game. The Warriors responded with three runs in the fifth and added an insurance run in the seventh. Norwalk improves to 8-4 overall and hosts Grinnell tonight at 7:00.

The baseball team returns to action after an off-day Tuesday. Norwalk enters their matchup with Grinnell with the momentum of a doubleheader sweep of Newton Monday, and will look to remain in the upper half of the conference standings with a win. Jon Mohwinkle and Chris Larson will call the action on KNIA3, with pregame coverage beginning at 7:15. First pitch from the Norwalk baseball field is scheduled for 7:30.
