The Marion County Democratic Central Committee will hold its June meeting Tuesday. Climate Activist and committee member Matt Russell will speak on the topic How Climate Action is a Winning Strategy for Iowa Progressives. Russell operates a farm near Lacona, and raises fresh produce, heirloom tomato plants, and grass-finished beef. His farm has hosted many elected officials over the years, including President Joe Biden.

The presentation begins at 6:00 p.m. via Zoom, with the committee meeting to follow. Participants must register in advance.
