The Knoxville School Board received construction updates Monday on the new middle school and high school HVAC upgrade. Business Manager Craig Mobley says progress at the middle school will soon be noticeable.

“Work is progressing at the middle school site. We’re getting our footings in, we’re getting our underground utilities put in. You’ll start seeing some precast panels going up later this month. On the high school side, we’re getting a lot of the demolition done within for the HVAC upgrade and the kitchen. Progress and work is happening fast. They don’t have a ton of time on the high school renovations, so we’re just trying to keep pushing forward on it.”
