The Pleasantville Chamber of Commerce has announced its Fourth of July activities. City Manager Joe Mrstik tells KNIA/KRLS News that most events will be Saturday, July 3rd. This includes the Firecracker Fun Run at 8:30 a.m. on the 3rd at the high school track.
This year’s parade theme is “Star-Spangled Salute for Essential Employees” to recognize the efforts of those who remained at work throughout the pandemic. Lineup begins at 10:30 at the middle school, and the parade begins at 11:00.
Joe Inman & Co. will provide live music Sunday, July 4th at 7:00 p.m. at Cora Shadle Park, with fireworks to follow at dusk.
