After large hail pummeled much of Marion and Warren Counties Friday night into Saturday morning, additional severe storms are possible Sunday late afternoon and evening.

The National Weather Service has issued a slight risk for severe weather for most of the state.

Conditions are favorable for scattered storms capable of producing large hail and damaging winds. Needed rainfall is also possible, with isolated downpours expected. Additional storms are possible Sunday morning, but those are not expected to be severe.

The KNIA/KRLS Severe Weather Action Team is on the air for any severe thunderstorm or tornado warning for any portion of Marion and Warren Counties.
