The annual Melcher-Dallas Coal Miners celebration resumes today with vendors and crafters in the park, American Legion Ceremony, golf cart decorating contest, and many more activities. The Coal Miners Golf Tournament is Sunday, June 27th. Committee President Angie Lepley says today’s events encompass the bulk of the celebration.

“We have a full day of activities. We have the carnival, games, we have mini golf, we have absolute science this year, which is going to be a blast for the kids. This is all part of a full day of entertainment and activities.”

The event is hosted by the Melcher-Dallas Fire Department and the Coal Miners Committee.
