The Indianola School District Summer Meals Program is underway, serving free breakfast and lunch to all children 18 years of age and under. Up to three breakfasts and lunches can be picked up per child twice a week, and the meals can be picked up from Indianola Middle School from 11am to 1pm, Emerson Elementary from 10:45 to 11:30am, and the Dollar General parking lot from noon to 12:45pm on Mondays and Thursdays. The meals are grab-and-go style, and not expected to be eaten on site. There will be no meals available for pickup on Monday, July 5th, as that is a paid holiday for district staff.
