Work on the City of Indianola Square Reconstruction Project continues, closing N Buxton St. on the square as well as two blocks of W Salem Ave on the square and extending west. A temporary construction fence has been erected between the sidewalk and streets, allowing for pedestrian traffic to continue on the sidewalks in the Phase 1 area, with access maintained to all buildings and businesses throughout the project. City staff is also finalizing additional wayfinding signage and maps, and are directing those who wish to visit the square to the various city parking lots located in the vicinity.

In addition to the Square Reconstruction Project, city crews will be working on storm sewer maintenance today near East Clinton Ave and N Jefferson Way. East Clinton in that area will be fully closed and the right northbound lane of N Jefferson will be closed, with work expected to be complete by 4pm today if there are no delays.
