For Indianola residents who take advantage of the Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center, a season pass is still available. Kathy Kester with Indianola Parks and Rec tells KNIA News sometimes residents don’t start using the pool until July, and think by that time a season pass isn’t worth it.

“A season pass gets you in the pool at 1pm, and general admission starts at 1:30 and costs $6. So you can do the math on that to see if it still works for you, but an Indianola resident pass is $91 so you would have to attend 16 times for it to start paying for itself, so something to keep in mind.”

Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center is open through August 22nd.
