The #4 in class 4A Norwalk Warriors softball team fell to both Urbandale and #4 in class 5A Indianola in a tournament at Dallas Center-Grimes Friday afternoon, 7-6 and 13-1.

The Warriors got out to an early lead against the J-Hawks, scoring in the first and then two in the second to take a 3-1 lead going into the third, but Urbandale scored six in the top of the third taking a 7-3 lead. Norwalk got another run back in the fourth, then two more in the fifth to cut the lead to just one run, but they were unable to score in the sixth and seventh to get the tying run.

The Warriors then fell to the Indians in just three innings in game two, scoring just one run in the second inning. Norwalk is now 21-14 on the season, and will have one final tune up game before postseason against Ames on Wednesday.
