The class 3A #15 ranked Knoxville Softball Squad will head two hours east to West Liberty for the class 3A regional semi-final. The Panthers were victorious over PCM on Tuesday night while #8 West Liberty defeated Mid-Prairie on Tuesday. Panther players Jadyn Streigle and Melanie Sullivan are looking forward to the game and are confident about their team’s chances.

Tonight’s game could come down to the pitching staff. The Panthers rank among one of the top ERAs in class 3A while West Liberty has a less than two ERA. The Comets finished second in the River Valley Conference. Listen to tonight’s action on 95.3 KNIA at 6:45 with the first pitch at seven.
