Drought conditions remain largely unchanged, although additional relief is on the way this weekend. The latest U.S. Drought Monitor Report shows most of Marion and Warren Counties south of Highway 92 remaining abnormally dry. Moderate drought remains in place throughout the rest of the region north of the state highway. Heavy rain is possible through early next week, with some spots in line to see two or more inches of precipitation in that timeframe.
