The City of Knoxville has passed another change order for the Competine Trail project as completion nears. Interim City Manager Heather Ussery says this is hopefully the final change before the grand opening.

“We’re hoping this will be the final change order for the project. There were some items that were done last year, as well as a fence for a property owner along the trail we needed to do a change order for. As COVID has gone on, the project has lasted a little longer than expected, and the price of materials has gone up. This change order was a reflection of that.”
