Melcher-Dallas’ softball squad had their season come to an end against Twin Cedars, but it wasn’t without tying a school-record in wins with 27.

The Saints put forth one of the winningest seasons in school history, which included finishing with 16 wins in the Bluegrass Conference. The 16-2 conference record is good for second behind Twin Cedars. The Saints swept every Bluegrass opponent except the Sabres and Moravia during the season. Melcher-Dallas also came away with a victory in the Northwood-Kensett Tournament June 12. The Saints also came away with victories in four different tournaments they competed in. It was a combination of senior leadership and young talent that led to a great season for Melcher-Dallas.

The Saints finished with a 27-9 record with a second-round playoff loss to Twin Cedars.
