Pella Historical Society and Museums have announced they have received a Cultural Leadership Partners Grant from the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs through the National Endowment for the Arts. This three-year grant of $45,000 will help fund operations at Pella Historical’s five campuses. The non-profit museum was one of 58 entities to receive the grant, of 286 that applied. Their selection was based on Pella Historical’s being an economic and cultural driver in tourism in south central Iowa as well as the non-profit’s strong support, leadership, and financial direction.
