With August on the horizon, residents may be thinking about upcoming recreation opportunities for their children in the fall. Knoxville Parks & Recreation Director Brandon Nemmers says a variety of programs will be available this fall at the rec center.

“Our fall schedule comes out in August. We have flag football, soccer, our swim lessons turn to the night. That’s right around the corner. We don’t have registration open yet, but that’ll be open in the next month. Not to wish away time, but it’s going to be here soon.”
