In a game that took three extra sessions, Knoxville was able to pull out the win 66-65 in triple overtime thanks to a Maggie Wilkins steal of an inbound pass and lay up as time expired to give Knoxville the win. The Panthers trailed at the half 28-20, but pulled ahead outscoring the Bulldogs 20-8 in the 3rd quarter before Van Meter outscored the Panthers by four in the 4th to tie the game at 50 at the end of regulation. With just over a second to play in the 3rd overtime and Van Meter inbounding the ball, Wilkins came over and stole the inbound hitting a wide open lay up at the buzzer, giving Knoxville the win.
