Four local student-athletes showcased their skills at the 49th annual Iowa Shrine Bowl Saturday inside the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls. The North squad won 52-24.

Pella Christian defensive lineman Luke Mulder was grateful for the opportunity to play among Iowa’s best talent.

CJ Kuehl of Indianola says this game is for a greater cause, raising money for the Iowa Shrine hospitals.

PCM running back Sage Burns says it was a surreal experience to return to the Dome after playing there last fall.

Ethan Carlson of Norwalk says it was a great way to cap off his high school football career and head into college.

Hear from all four local participants on this week’s edition of the Radio Sports Page – Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. and Thursday at 10:00 a.m. on 94.3 and 95.3 KNIA and 92.1 KRLS.
