The Knoxville Community School District is inviting community members to take part in its first ever Leadership Academy in August. Business Manager Craig Mobley says those in attendance will get an overview of nearly every aspect of district operations.

“Participants of the academy are going to hear from leaders of all our departments, principals of our buildings, Superintendent Pearson, and myself. They’re going to get an overview of our transportation department, maintenance facilities department, technology, curricular teaching and learning, finances, just to get a high level overview of how the school operates, the day-to-day operations. They’ll see how our board members are involved in how we operate.”

There is no cost to attend and dinner will be provided to all participants. To view a schedule and to register for the Leadership Academy, click here.
