Night two of the National Balloon Classic is tonight, again featuring over 100 hot air balloons and pilots in several classes. Tonight’s entertainment includes the Open the Skies Mass Ascension beginning at 6:30pm, with the Dirty Rotten Scoundrels playing on stage, and fireworks beginning after dark.

The gates to the balloon field open at 4pm, providing access to the various food vendors and entertainment venues. To enter the National Balloon Classic Field, tickets must be purchased in advance and there will be no sales at the gate. Tickets can be purchased either at the Indianola Hy-Vee Customer Service Station, or purchased online and printed, no tickets will be scanned from a mobile device.
