Demolition continues at the VA campus in Knoxville. The project started earlier this month, and Board of Supervisors Chair Mark Raymie says good progress has already been made.

“We’re very pleased with the progress so far. Glad we could have Mayor Hatch, Dylan Morse and Cassi Pearson out here with us to take a look and see what’s been done. We’re excited about the direction and looking forward to continued progress that has been made.”

Mayor Brian Hatch says the progress is somewhat hidden.

“It’s fun to get out here and look at it. Driving by on the highway, you don’t notice all the work that’s been done behind the scenes, behind all these buildings. It’s very impressive to see all the work that’s taken place.”
