The Iowa all-state softball teams were released earlier this week, and a Norwalk freshman made the third team. Jaylynn Brandt was honored on the last after a stellar inaugural season. Head Coach Andy Pals says every accolade she receives is well-deserved.
Brandt led the team with 46 hits and also had a team-high .411 batting average. She was walked 18 times and recorded an on-base percentage of .493.
