Tonight is the final chance for all sprint car drivers to tune their cars for the upcoming Southern Iowa Sprint Week which begins Thursday with the 31st Annual 360 Nationals. Tonight the 410s will be greeted by the All-Star Circuit of Champions, an eastern touring series owned by racing legend Tony Stewart. Tyler Courtney, who won the 38th Kings Royal in Eldora a couple of weeks ago has dominated the season with seven wins and has a commanding lead in the season points. Kerry Madsen won Friday night’s stop at 34 Raceway in West Burlington. One driver, who runs locally and already has a win recently on the All-Stars is Brian Brown, who will be trying to defend home turf tonight. He won the 410 A-Main last week at Knoxville and took the win at I-70 Raceway in Missouri on Tuesday says it is always good to race at Knoxville and is looking forward to his new crew mates to see what they can do this week.

Brown;
“We were good there, we weren’t great, we tried some things we tried at Eldora. Hats off to my crew, Danny, Ty, and Nate. It’s always good to run at Knoxville this time of the year.”

The Danny that Brown is referring to is his uncle and Hall of Famer Danny Lasoski, who he just hired as his crew chief. Along with the 410s, a full 360 show will accompany the 410s and the 360s are expected to have a full field with less than a week to go before the 360 Nationals. Live coverage is on KNIA at 5:00 with Live Track Side and 7:00 for Race Nights Live.
