Kerry Madsen has been spectacular at the Knoxville Raceway. Two podiums, and a win in June already had his season going great. Add to that an All-Star Circuit of Champions win Saturday night, which was his second in as many days, and he could become a bonafide contender for the upcoming Knoxville Nationals. Madsen started 3rd in the A-Main and by lap ten had the lead and was pulling away. A caution on lap 17 of the 25 lap race only slowed the inevitable as Madsen again took off and beat Spencer Bayston to the line, followed by Gio Scelzi who won the 360 show on Saturday. Scelzi was able to slip by Clint Garner on lap nine in traffic and pull away for the win. Ian Madsen, who led the first eight laps was 2nd while 360 points leader Ryan Giles was 3rd. All the preliminaries are done, as the My Place Hotels 360 Nationals gets underway on Thursday.
