An Eagles senior makes another appearance on the Top 10 countdown from 2020-2021 on Eagle Lane, this time, for her work on the basketball court. Pella Christian Senior Allison Van Gorp toppled the 1,000 career point mark against Pella on February 11th.

Van Gorp finished her career as a three-time All-Conference selection and three-year starter in the program, and earned 2nd team All-State recognition from the Iowa Girls Coaches Association. She’s 3rd all-time on the school’s scoring list for Eagles girls basketball.

Allison had a special spring to follow, qualifying for the Drake Relays in both the discus and shot put and qualifying for the 2A state meet in both events. She’ll continue both basketball and track and field careers at Central College.
