The Pella Area Community and Economic Alliance is gearing up for the return of the organization’s annual golf outing.

Executive Director Karen Eischen says the event begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start at Bos Landen Golf Course. Teams of four can sign up for $100 per golfer, which includes 18 holes, greens fees, a cart, swag bag, and lunch on the course.

Eischen says over the past several years, the PACE Alliance Golf outing has been raising funds for local first responders; this year, proceeds will benefit the Pella Police Department’s K-9 fundraiser.

Registration for the PACE Alliance Golf Outing on August 20th should be done by this Wednesday, with details available at the PACE Alliance website.
