Pella Christian Graduate Kate Vos was nominated for the E Wayne Cooley “You Can” Award through the Iowa Girls Coaches Association. Head Coach Karen Harrill says Kate was an outstanding team player who was always ready to help out where needed.

“She is the first to grab equipment and shag. She is always hustling, cheering, and smiling. She loves softball and loves being with her teammates. Her leadership with the younger players is touching, meaningful and kind. Kate brings treats to celebrate an accomplishment and to motivate others. Kate has the biggest heart and her teammates respect her deeply.” Harrill wrote in her nomination submission.

Vos was a senior member of the state qualifying Eagles earlier this summer.
