After PCM’s football squad was knocked out in the state semifinals at the UNI-Dome by Waukon, they will be looking to avenge the loss with another deep playoff run.

With the Mustangs returning August Stock at quarterback and also bringing back running back Aidan Anderson from injury, PCM is expected to have a lot of youth at the receiving core including Caden Lindsay and Gavin Fenton. Where PCM’s biggest strength will likely be this season will be on the defensive side of the ball, returning juniors Durant VanDyke and Jake Eslinger, who were top two on the team in sacks. Coach Greg Bonnett tells KRLS Sports that an area of improvement for the team will be taking care of the ball.

Bonnett also stated that the team needs to stop overthinking and just play the game. PCM’s season opener will be August 27 at home against Davis County.
