The Knoxville Community School District has launched a new website to provide frequent updates on its new middle school construction project. The new school is being built just to the north of Knoxville High School, and the two buildings will be connected. Superintendent Cassi Pearson says the website will feature regular updates, photos and videos as crews continue to make progress.

“People can go to our school website and see updated videos and photos of the construction project. We’re going to try to keep that updated every couple of weeks, so if you aren’t able to drive by the site and as work begins inside, we’ll be able to give a sneak peek to our community.”

Construction began with a groundbreaking on March 24th. The new building is scheduled to be completed in late 2022.
