More than 100 runners from 25 states will be hitting the pavement for the Knoxville Hospital & Clinics Foundation 4.10 Dash at 9:00 this morning. Director of Foundation & Public Relations Kevin Stittsworth tells KNIA/KRLS News that motorists should be cautious and on the lookout for runners as they drive throughout town.

The route begins on Knoxville Raceway and finishes at Peace Tree Brewery. Runners will travel along Larson, Woodland, Jackson, Roche, Reno, 7th, Douglas & 1st Streets.

Runners registered come from as far as Alaska, Washington, Florida, Texas, Pennsylvania, North Carolina. Proceeds will go toward KHC’s emergency room renovation and clinic expansion.
