The Pella Community School District joins many others in the region and the state in beginning classes on August 23rd. Despite the many challenges to get academics, activities and athletics up and running last year, Pella High School Principal Adam Beckel says the last 16 months have shown the determination of the students to continue achieving at a high level. The stage will be set for another special academic calendar in 2021-22, starting with an open house on Thursday, August 19th, with new students attending from 5 to 6:30 and returning classes from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
