The Your Life Matters 5K is less than two weeks away, taking place the morning of Saturday, August 28th. Organizer Michaela Bigaouette says this is the main fundraiser for the group, and they’re always looking for new ways to further their cause.

“We’re always looking for new projects, new ways we can reach young people. Whether that’s through Little League, curriculum in the school, scholarships, programs that local mental health professionals reach out and ask us to sponsor. We’re open to anything and everything. We work with the Marion County Coalition for Suicide Prevention to help bring those projects into our schools.”

The Your Life Matters 5K Run/Walk is Saturday, August 28th, starting and ending at Knoxville High School. Registration costs $25 for ages 19+ and $20 for those 18 and under.
