The National Weather Service is expecting chances of thunderstorms to develop over western Iowa late this afternoon and into the evening hours and then move eastward into central Iowa. A few severe storms will be possible with damaging winds and large hail. The KNIA/KRLS Severe Weather Action Team is on the air with live coverage for any severe thunderstorm or tornado warning for any portion of Marion and Warren Counties.
