The third Your Life Matters 5K is Saturday in Knoxville. The race begins at 8:00 a.m. in the Knoxville High School student parking lot, with day-of registration beginning at 7:00. Organizer Scott Karr encourages everyone to stick around afterwards for a short time.

“A medal will go to the top three in each division. It looks like the weather should be good, we’ll have it rain or shine. We’ll have a couple of water stations throughout the race, water bottles and food at the end of the race. Hopefully we’ll have a speaker this year, it’s a subject that’s hard to talk about, but if not, we’ll say a few words. Stick around, see who got what places, and we’ll have a good day.”

Pre-registration is available until 11:59 p.m. Wednesday. Shirt pick-up is Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Knoxville Schools Administration Building. Listen to today’s Let’s Talk Knoxville for more information.
