Week 1 of the Iowa High School football season is tonight, and KNIA/KRLS is proud to once again provide award-winning coverage each Friday throughout the season. The Jeromy Dingeman Concrete Football Friday Night Radio Preview Show runs from 4:30 to 6:30, simulcast on 92.1 KRLS and 94.3/95.3 KNIA. At 6:30, pregame coverage begins on all six stations and streams, with the games kicking off at either 7:00 or 7:30. After all the games are done, the Greg Young of Indianola Scoreboard Show runs for around one hour on 92.1 KRLS and 94.3/95.3 KNIA. Sales Manager Trevor Castle says no one covers high school football as well as KNIA/KRLS.

“We’re fortunate in our community and in this area to have a radio station that put this kind of emphasis on local content like we do. For me, when I’m off on Friday night, I can sit in my living room and I’m using the smart speaker for one game, the computer for another, the phone for another, bouncing between all the games and being able to keep up to date with everything going on. We’re pretty fortunate in this area to have a team like ours that provides the kind of coverage for local schools like we do.”
