Part of the bipartisan infrastructure deal that is currently being considered in congress includes investments in biofuels, which Congresswoman Cindy Axne says is a priority of hers. Congresswoman Axne tells KNIA News biofuels can not only be a benefit to Iowa and the midwest, but also to other parts of the country and take advantage of other natural resources, and we need to do more than we are currently doing.

“We could be researching more into this entire area, finding out how to best use natural resources in this country to help us with our energy. We need to do more research, so that we can find every opportunity in this. I think we have a lot out there that we are overlooking, and we should probably put more resources towards that.”
